Nuba’s owners have gone through extensive renovations with an intent of restoring the large heritage space to some of its former glory; the Dominion building upon completion in 1910 was known as the “tallest commercial building in the British Empire“.
Much of the painted wood and tile has been stripped to reveal some beautiful woodwork and vintage hardware.
The food is authentic Lebanese cuisine. Simple, fresh, very healthy and flavourful plates that are designed to be shared with friends and family. 
Taboulleh ~ hand chopped parsley, tomatos, green onions, & burghul in a lemon-mint dressing. $5.50
The owner’s secret falafel recipe of organic chickpeas, fava beans, veggies & spices. $5
Grilled zataar crusted halal lamb chops over hummus and taboulleh. $15
Apricots stuffed with pistachios & fresh mint served with sweet labneh cream. $6
