We are NOVO Pizzeria & wine bar. We serve rustic, italian, comfort food featuring Neapolitan pizza.
For our pizza dough we start off with imported stone ground Caputo flour- the number one choice of pizzaiolis (pizza makers) in Italy. We add water, salt, yeast, a little love, and then we age our dough for 48 hours – a technique that gives it an array of complex flavours.
That’s when the fun begins! We shape each dough by hand, and top it with hand-crushed tomatoes and fresh quality ingredients. Now ready for our apple wood fuelled wood-burning oven, it will cook for about a minute at approximately 900 degrees, with the flavour of the wood being imparted on every pie.
The pizzailo craftily turns the pizza as it cooks, and when ready, gently removes it, anoints it with a drizzle of olive oil, sprinkles it with a pinch of flaked sea salt and buon appetito…. it’s ready for you to devour.
We also have an array of antipasti, pastas, salads, and you really have to try our house bread which we make in our wood burning oven every Sunday (just like mama). Our wine menu is always evolving and features an assortment of Italian and British Columbian wines.
