The Edge Social Grille & Lounge is the newest arrival on downtown’s Granville Street and it promises to become a major destination for this revived neighbourhood. Located on the corner of Granville & Helmcken, this large modern yet comfortable interior, flirts with both the cool and romantic. The Edge is crowned by an 80 seat patio, the jewel of the street, set deep into a large street front courtyard.

The Edge is the perfect spot to start your evening, spend your afternoon or finish your night on Granville Street.Offering breakfast, light patio fare, lunch, brunch (on weekends and holidays), dinner or a late night snack as The Edge is open until 2am.

The West Coast inspired menu is the modern Canadian food that Vancouverites and visitors crave. It’s a varied menu and of course, as this is Vancouver, sustainability and local products are a priority when choosing ingredients.

The Edge … changes menu but doesn’t change web page! Took 2 friends for lunch since I enjoyed previous visits. Shock! Prices increased considerably. No Woks. No trio of fries. No interesting dishes. Boring “sandwiches” the only choice. Lunch cost over $70 for 4 (sandwiches & a 2 beers). What goes on? At least update your website so it isn’t a “surprise” to arrive and told the items are no longer available. And… when prices increase so dramatically, these too should be changed. Service was great – she kept apologizing for missing items.

Thanks for the comment.

I’m going here tonight for a birthday party so I scoped the menu. It looked promising but these words now have my eyebrow raised…
