crime-lab_diningThe Crime Lab is notorious for serving bona fide good food at surprisingly reasonable prices.  Located in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour, we offer guests innovative Pacific Northwest dishes aided and abetted by a killer martini list.

Whether you enjoy the view from our waterfront patio or the chic surroundings of our dining room, you will inevitably find yourself implicated in a culinary experience so enjoyable it’s practically criminal.  With food this good, however, we’re sure you won’t leave any evidence behind.

Executive Chef Gary Parkes oversees the culinary creations while the front of the house is watched with a keen eye by Managing Partner Kimberley Cole.   Local Vancouverites will recognize Kimberley from her previous roles at many of Vancouver’s most renowned and successful restaurants, including Bridges, Joe Fortes, Il Giardino, Mescalero and the Blue Water Café.

Kimberley gained experience as a General Manager at Allegro Café, The Crime Lab, and Lucy Mae Brown.   This background, combined with the loyal following she had attracted during 21 years serving and bartending in Vancouver’s downtown core, gave her confidence to pursue a dream she shared with her husband Gerald:  to open their own restaurant in Vancouver.  The Crime Lab had closed when its previous location fell prey to the wrecking ball, but Gerald and Kimberley have brought it back to life.  Kimberley utilizes her exceptional people skills to ensure staff and clients are happy, while Gerald works behind the scenes.  Their complementary skills result in great teamwork that has quickly made The Crime Lab a culinary destination for locals and tourists alike.
