The Top Table group’s Yaletown flagship is a masterpiece of great design, food, and service. With a raw bar manned by Yoshiya Maruyama and a seafood-heavy menu executed by talented executive chef Frank Pabst executing seafood forward menus (there’s plenty for the carnivores,too), Blue Water remains one of the most sought after reservations in town. If the season is right, ask for the patio. It makes for eye-popping people watching. If you’re just popping in for a quick bite (oysters!), sit at the long bar and have one of our mixologists muddle you one of their superb signature cocktails. The service crew, managed ably by Stephen Cachard, are gracious and professional, and his wine list is well chosen and deep.
