In celebration of Vancouver Craft Beer Week’s return, 25 of British Columbia’s finest craft breweries have banded together to create a collaboration ale, with all profits being donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society Tsunami Relief Fund. This year’s collaboration beer style is Cascadian Dark Ale, a style that originated in the Pacific North West. Canada Malting has donated raw materials for the creation of the beer, which is being brewed at R&B Brewing.
Keep an eye out for this ‘official beer’ during VCBW (May 6-14) being sold on tap, cask and in bottles at participating venues and retail outlets.
