The constant low level nagging irritant of being denied streaming media a la Hulu in the states due to backward thinking copyright law and parochial Canadian rights holders is mitigated somewhat by CBC’s streaming media. Not enough to ease the sting of not being able to watch 30 Rock at any time, but baby steps as they say.
The CBC has made available their good food-centric documentary series, The Great Food Revolution. Great in the title may be hyperbole, but it’s still pretty good. Good enough to stream while killing time in the Calgary airport while waiting a flight for example.
