Last night amongst a lively crowd of supporters from both industry and beyond, Boneta owners, Mark Brand, Chef Jeremie Bastien, and Neil Ingram announced the final and inevitable demise of the “temporary” 1 West Cordova space that successfully launched Boneta just 3 short years ago. In approximately 6 months, the Gastown heritage space that originally came with only a 1 year lease will no longer be home to one of Vancouver’s most beloved restaurants.

The great news is Boneta, with a rock-solid 15 year lease in hand, will relocate to brand-new digs just around the corner in the redeveloped Garage building that wraps around the Gaoler’s Mews courtyard just off of Water Street.

More details as they come.

That is great news! Signing a 15-year lease on anything these days is quite a leap of faith…
