Canada’s first craft beer week (a.k.a. The Biggest ‘Real’ Beer Party This City Has Ever Seen) has officially begun with Vancouver mayor Gregor Robertson tapping the inaugural VCBW collaboration cask from brewmasters’ Vern Lambourne of Granville Island Brewing and Iain Hill of Yaletown Brewing Company at the Alibi Room on Monday.
With 30+ events and weekly specials across the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Craft Beer Week is set to showcase British Columbia’s incredible local craft brewing scene like never before.
