Anthony Von Mandl, proprietor of Mark Anthony Brands, generously presented a $100,00 cheque to George Heyman of Sierra Club Canada and Darcy Dobell of World Wildlife Fund Canada yesterday in support of their critical and ongoing conservation initiatives to preserve the wild habitat of the BC central coast, also known as the Great Bear Rainforest.

Just curious about what the 15% bonus to the wealthy Sierra club actually does for our endangered bears? I know the wine company was supported by Simon Jackson of the SB Youth Coalition quite profoundly and then they ditched him. Gotta love that political environmentalism huh?
My two companies are branded Spirit Bear and we are under attack from the two communities of Northern BC, Klemtu(indian Reserve) and the city of Terrace, who have what is called a government policy on the word `Spirit Bear`, my families tribal indian name for SB, which is `Moks`gm ol`, plus the last name of the lady who first wrote about our unique endangered bears, Francis `Kermode`. What kind of justice is there in shutting down innocent hard working peoples businesses?? They don`t really care about the bears they just want to power trip and hand the important issue over to the lawyers. We pay into bankruptcy while the `policy` holders get gov`t money to shut us down.
I really hope the Sierra club does something honest with the money because our bears will go extinct if people don`t live up to their stewardship responsibilities. We will be keeping a closer eye on these organizations from now on, and hopefully we can all work together rather than waste time and money on legal fees and BS fighting. SAVE OUR BEARS!!!!!!!!!!AND WILD SALMON!!!
