As ridiculous as it sounds it is possible he has that much in his kitchen. At Giannis he used to hoard all the funghi and truffles he could get so others could not get it.He would take all of the mushroom salesmens stock to spite the guys downtown. His staff was constantly throwing it out as it rotted. It was all about ego for him.
