Save the earth, eat a dog. Aside from a slight cop out in the last sentence, Jonathan Safran Foer makes the sensible suggestion that we should eat more dog, if in fact local and sustainable are principles you really care about. He makes a pretty good case, if even the only objection we have is on an emotional level. It’s a purely cultural taboo, maybe it’s time to overcome our collective revulsion and do something to solve our greenhouse gas emitting beef addiction. Plus you’ve got to admit, the dog in the picture above looks pretty tasty.

Not a fan of the small breeds personally. I hear that the Weinmaraner is the Kobe of Dogs.
think we would do better saving the planet by eating humans and anyways apprently they taste like Pork so whats not to like?
