A great hiring for Manteo. I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy Bernie’s cooking many times at Burrowing Owl, the Wildflower (Chateau Whistler) and even at Expo ‘86 (the Canadian Club). Now that I know where Bernie has gone, I look forward to a great meal the next time I’m in Kelowna. Bonne chance, Bernie!

Wild Apple was already the best hotel dining room on the lake, which until recently would have been damning with faint praise. I’m delighted that Bernard is now ensconced in a more accessible location and can’t wait till he gets traction with the winter menu!
