Thanks to reader Brian for the heads up about T&T Supermarket being sold to Loblaw Companies. Also thanks for providing the gag that he eagerly awaits Chairman Mao’s Choice blue label lap cheung. Strange decision by Loblaw, as pretty much anyone that shopped there was a refugee from Stupidstore and their chain ilk, with the sale consumers that want to keep their food dollars local will just move on to any of a number of local independents, Asian or otherwise.

Good point about the independent grocers there are all kinds of them and they are very competitive.
