You mentioned draft beer. What are they pouring? It pains me to see so many Vancouver restaurants serving 'fresh, local' produce, meat and seafood, yet serving only watered down corporate beer. Vancouver is home to 20+ breweries, making terrific craft beer. Local food deserves independent local beer! Support your local brewery Vancouver!

Had lunch at the bar at Coast today. I was very well greeted; sure-footed & professional. Nicose Salad was as good as ever i've had anywhere including Nice. Busy bar scene even at lunch with fancy drink making and oyster shucking. Service staff were knowledgable, helpful, upbeat and sincere. This team has hit the ground running.

Honestly, it does look very polished & promising & best of luck to them but with such tosh as " the focus on constant guest engagement from the kitchen makes food more exciting........." When did he become a Robocop?
