Front of the house manager – strong people skills a must. This is a vibrant, young company with positive growth, vision and potential. This position serves tables, manages the wine and beverage portfolio and trains both BOH and FOH staff. Three closing shifts a week plus two brunches.
Server – 3 years minimum. This is a local, casual bistro style restaurant, but three years white tablecloth service is a must. Strong contemporary cuisine knowledge plus wine and freshly muddled cocktail experience a definite asset.
Kitchen Staff – Daily market shopping, local farms, small producers – everything organic and local when possible. This kitchen is hard work – and the satisfaction is equal to the work you put into the job. This is not a training position – please, a minimum of 5 years experience.
Dishwasher – $9 an hour plus a meal per shift. Light prep and kitchen duties, maintenance and regular cleaning. This could be an entry level position for the right candidate.
MonBella Bistoria is a small, local Kitsilano restaurant that serves contemporary Italian and French trattoria/bistro style foods and wines. Simple, pure flavours. Always fresh, organic and local when possible. Working with the knowledge of the terroir of the wines is paramount. We are about educating, nurturing and the pure hospitality experience.
