In today’s Hit and Run we’ve got stories about the foibles of being a food blogger, the ten highest earning chefs and the NRA congratulates POTUS. Who knew there were two NRA’s? Come on in, the weather outside is perfect, what better way to enjoy enjoy it than by reading a semi-pointless blog post?
Under The High Chair details ten things you can expect when dining at a bloggers house. I recognize all ten, and have to admit to committing each act at least once.
3. Once the meal is ready, it will be marched past the set dining room table and out the back door for a photo shoot on the shady deck; it will be served to you approximately fifteen minutes later. If you’re lucky.
Next we have courtesy todays Vancouver Sun a list of the top earning chefs via Forbes. Being that Rachel Ray tops the list I have to wonder if The Sun understands what the word “chef” means, I hate to tell them, but I don’t think it means what they think it does. Their criteria seems to be anyone involved with food, which makes Ronald McDonald and Colonel Saunders eligible for their list. Hell, I bet The Noid made more money than Bobby Flay did last year.
Lastly we have the NRA praising President Obama for the fact he seems to eat out more than Alex Gill. Since reciveing the letter he’s been out at least two more times this week alone.
