Locked up tight for the last few nights without notice and a disconnected phone are always bad signs for a restaurant. Is Le Marrakech Moroccan Bistro in Gastown the lasted casualty to fall away in the never-ending quest to put bums in seats?

The last voicemail message I heard over last weekend was that they had closed due to a flood, but were expected open on Tuesday 19th. Guess not.
Noticed on the MLS website that the restaurant is for sale/ lease a couple of weeks ago.
A group of us were suppose to go there for dinner on June 6th. Have been trying to confirm res for two weeks now, and no call back. Just voice mail. That’s too bad if it closed down. Phone disconnected now. If closed for a flood, they wouldn’t have the phone disconnected and would at least reschedule res. Oh well…
