AQUA RIVA AND HORIZONS RESTAURANTS EXTEND DINE OUT MENUS

(Vancouver, BC) Tourism Vancouver’s promotion Dine Out Vancouver may be ending on Sunday, but eager diners will still have a chance to try the Dine Out menus for one extra week until February 8th at both Aqua Riva Restaurant & Bar and Horizons Restaurant. Both restaurants provide a phenomenal value with Aqua Riva in the $28.00 category and Horizons in the $38.00 category.

Year after year, Aqua Riva is consistently one of the most booked restaurants participating in Dine Out Vancouver.  Highlights from Chef Mario Fortin’s menu include Candied Wild Sockeye Salmon Salad, Tortilla Crusted Ruby Trout Fillet and Okanagan Apple and Raison Bread Pudding.  Horizons’ Chef John Garrett has been receiving rave reviews for his menu as well, which includes BC Honey Mussels steamed with fennel, saffron and BC white wine, Filet Mignon with caramelized shallot butter and Chocolate Creme Brule.

CANADIAN CULINARY CHAMPIONSHIPS
Chef Pabst will take some of the Unsung Heroes repertoire to star in the Canadian Culinary Championships in Banff, Alberta, February 20-22. This event, in support of Canada’s Olympic athletes, is a two-day cooking marathon featuring the country’s top chefs, all finalists in regional Gold Medal Plates competitions.
