HART HOUSE AT DEER LAKE DISHES UP THE HOLIDAYS IN STYLE

November 20, 2008 (Vancouver, BC) – Burnaby’s Hart House at Deer Lake is making holiday planning easy by offering a variety of festive options this December, including a weekday Lunch Buffet, Christmas Day Dinner, and New Year’s Eve celebration.
Hart House’s Dickens Buffet Lunch will be available throughout December, featuring traditional fare such as baked three cheese macaroni, baked ham with maple syrup glaze and a seafood platter. It provides an ideal opportunity to catch up with friends or share a business lunch at $35 per person.
Hart House will be open Mondays throughout December to accommodate additional guests. Those who prefer to enjoy Christmas Day without slaving over a hot stove will be delighted to learn that Hart House will host a Christmas Dinner on December 25th. The three-course menu includes favourites like sweet onion soup and roasted turkey with brioche stuffing and dessert at a cost of $55 per person.
Hart House rings in the New Year with two seatings for a New Year’s Eve Dinner that promises to be truly exceptional. Guests who opt for the first seating will enjoy a three-course menu including lobster bisque and roasted lamb for $55.
The second seating will offer a decadent five-course menu offering beef tartar, butter braised lobster, an artisan cheese plate and banana upside down cake for $75. The restaurant’s resident sommelier will be pleased to recommend wines that will pair perfectly with either menu.
Please note that Hart House will be closed on Boxing Day.
