Serving what Chef Wayne Martin calls “renewed classics,” the menu at both locations is comfort food at its best showcasing fresh, seasonal, regional and organic farmer’s market ingredients. The original Crave on Main is an intimate neighbourhood 34 seat restaurant with a retractable garage door window, or (weather permitting), with a private 40 seat back garden terrace amongst the restaurant’s herb garden and tranquil fountain.
The new Crave Beachside is a 70 seat natural wood beamed dining room, bathed with natural sunlight from its patio doors and skylights and is set with the same charcoal tones and black accents as the original restaurant on Main Street. This new location, with the same attention to detail as the original CRAVE on Main, carries through the signature “cracked” glass panels as well as original contemporary West Coast artwork, to complement the casual dining room. The new CRAVE Beachside has one of the Lower Mainland’s best outdoor garden patios with 55 seats on two levels, overlooking Ambleside Beach and the Hollyburn Sailing Club.
