Michelle and I are leaving the kids with their grandparents and heading up to Whistler for Feast of Fields this morning. I’ll report on our trip when we get back. Have a great weekend everybody!
UPDATE: Arrived and all is well. Feast of Fields was quite different from previous years with the food, wine, and beer tents all tightly contained in Rebagliadi Park rather than spread out at Pemberton’s expansive (and gorgeous) North Arm Farm. There was a healthy turnout (pictures coming soon in video format) with plenty of familiar faces, great food, and a perennially full chef’s cup of Sun God. A black bear tried to break up the festivities, but we chased it away with pots and pans, directly into the path of a bunch of children. Good times.
We’re staying at the lovely Chateau Whistler Fairmont. Dinner at Araxi in a few hours. Hot tub beckons.
