As many of you many of you are aware, Zoom Airlines went under this morning, throwing hundreds out of work. Among them was an old friend of mine, Lauren, a colleague from my Beach House days. She was my favourite busser, but she proved herself and quickly moved up to serving. I hated it when she was promoted, because I could no longer depend on her to do my job for me. She’s looking to resume her serving career. If any of our GM or restaurateur readers are interested in picking up a hard worker on the fly (no pun intended), check in to the forum’s Trade Winds thread, where I believe she will shortly be posting her details for your consideration.

Please send Lauren to Bishops- if she is as good as you say, they would possibly have a spot. Ask for Abel any time after 3pm.

Lauren used to work for me at the Beach House…yes, so did Andrew. If she wants a job she should come and see me. Andrew feel free to let her know I’m looking for servers.
