Yoo Choi July 2, 2008 at 2:50 pm: I have family (in-laws) out east, so we always hit Cottage Country for a week in August. We rent a sizable cottage and whoever doesn’t fit sleeps in a giant tent outside. It’s a standing summer tradition.
Now if you asked where we go in the spring or fall, that would be all of the above.

My summer vacations are spent in the wilderness of new shops cashing in on fresh ideas, before the damp, silent, big wet comes.

The shops with the cash and necks on the table paying for the next season, fingers and toes crossed, in advance, look really good in scant wear.

Now that’s what I call a good place to get a suntan in my world.
