I was in Tofino with all intentions of going to the main event at the Gardens this year. However, the two surfer girls that I hung out with wanted to stay in and cook (well, I cooked, they ate). Oh well, perhaps next year. The surf was pretty good once the wind eased. 8' swell at Cox Bay sure were fun! (I'm glad that your Westie didn't blow up on this trip.)
