COAST Restaurant Welcomes Tojo May 18

COAST Restaurant is delighted to welcome Chef Hidekazu Tojo, one of the city’s top chefs and owner of Tojo’s Restaurant in Vancouver, on Sunday, May 18 for a special tasting dinner. Joining COAST Executive Chef Josh Wolfe at the Community Table, Tojo will showcase his famed talent and combine his dishes with Chef Wolfe during the event.

Guests will have an opportunity to sample four deliciously different items from each of the Chefs at this culinary celebration.

Chef JC Poirier will be making his mom’s favourites for Mother’s Day lunch at Chow.

Vancouver, BC – This Mother’s Day, Chef JC Poirier will be serving a very special Mother’s Day lunch featuring creations that his own mother approves of. Chow will be open for it’s first Mother’s Day lunch May 11th from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Mrs. Poirier adheres to a healthy diet rich in grains and vegetables, so her son’s yogurt panna cotta with granola and fruit salad, as well as his grilled asparagus salad with marinated mushrooms, sauce gribiche, and Parmesan with crispy breadcrumbs, are among her favourites. Growing up in Montreal also had Chef JC preparing more than a few Mother’s Day Croque Madames, but at Chow he makes them even richer by adding a healthy dose of house-cured ham, and a side of
Hanna Brooks Farm organic greens.

Mother’s Day at Chow means fresh, organic, and most importantly, already mom approved.
