Falling For Fraîche

I had a very lovely meal with Michelle up at Fraîche tonight. It’s a stunner of a brand new restaurant from Crave’s owner/chef Wayne Martin, and though deep in the recessed upper residential strata of The Republic of Range Rovia West Vancouver, it reminds me of very modern hotel restaurant lounge in the heart of a city on the make. Compelling, but not strangely so. The view of the city is probably the best in the city. Think Salmon House but younger and with a much better body.

I’ll save further comment for print, but take my word for it: this place is well worth the trouble that goes into finding it. Food, service, atmosphere, and view all in spades.
