I’m Off To Zihuatanejo

and ain’t nobody gonna freakin’ stop me…

Michelle and I are going to Zihuatanejo for a week without the kids (thanks Mom).

It’s been a long haul without a break and I’m so very good to go.

I’ll be at the wine festival all day tomorrow (and then the Canucks game – woot!) so this will probably be my last post for a spell unless I can find a wireless palm tree somewhere.

Chances are happily slim.

If all goes according to our masterplan, Paul will be transferring the site over to a new server in my absence, so please use whatever downtime there might be to familiarise yourselves, as if you haven’t already, with some great local food blogs.

May I recommend:

City Food

Eat Vancouver

Chow Times

In The Kitchen

Nancyland

Van Eats

Everybody Likes Sandwiches

Ho Yummy

As always, the forum will be open late, but I’ll try and stay away. Be good. ;-)

Have a great holiday. Thanks for recommending Chow Times. Sometimes Suanne writes about our time at the Community Kitchens.

Hey Andrew, have a great time, that is one of my favorite places on earth…find the posole restaurant that is only open on Thursday (they spend the rest of the week making it). So freakin’ good. Do not, however, make use of their, erm, “bathroom”.
Also fish tacos at Sirena Gorda, yum!
