Lumière wins Best of Vancouver 2007 Readers’ Choice as Best Restaurant for Fine Dining

VANCOUVER, BC September 20, 2007 – Lumière continues to shine as they win Georgia Straight’s 12th Annual Best of Vancouver Readers’ Choice for Best Restaurant for Fine Dining.

Owners, David & Manjy Sidoo wish to thank the Georgia Straight and their Readers for voting them the best in their category. David Sidoo states, “With the addition of Chef du Cuisine, Dale Mackay, formerly from Gordon Ramsay’s Maze Restaurant in New York, and Executive Chef Rob Feenie, we hope to push the culinary experience to an even higher plateau.”

While many other notable restaurants in Vancouver also received high ratings it was Lumière that received the “Best Restaurant for Fine Dining” billing among Readers’ Choice voters.
