Here’s a first look at the menu that’ll be on offer at Cambie’s upcoming and highly anticipated Pied-à-Terre. The new French bistro from Parkside and La Buca owners Chris Stewart and Andrey Durbach is set to open in October…

OMG. If they open for lunch I am in SO MUCH TROUBLE!

Daube of Veal Cheeks?

Keep an eye for for me on the next Jenny Craig ads …

Yum. Sigh. Saving up my $$

No fusion, no molecular, just grounded classic French food? What a notion for Vancouver! And Karen it doesn’t look like you’ll have to dig too deep into pocket – Table d’Hote $29.50.

There is only one thing that would have made this better: putting it into the old Chi spot. :(

Now thats what I’m talking about!

Looking forward to indulging in yet another success venture I am sure.

Does anyone know the exact location? The address looks to be around Cambie and 20th, the heart of the subway construction site.

Don Don Noodle Cafe spot at 3369 Cambie St.

3412 Cambie (that is what is on the material above) or 3369?

3412 is at 18th and Cambie and is the former or current location of Happy Nails according to my quick Google.

And people were crying over the loss of Don-Don. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that …

Yuh-mmmy. Taking what Jules does so well up a notch. I love the menu!

And that’s a good point, I don’t mean to slight Jules, Bistrot Bistro, or Salade des Fruits (which I greatly love) – but I think will be a slightly different animal as FB notes.

Absolutely – hard core bistro classics that will hopefully be executed with attention to detail. I am so ready and it’s right around the corner from my pad! Surely a great addition to the ‘hood; the place that many of us have been waiting for.

Can we confirm the address? This article says 3412 Cambie, but the “Opening Soon” article says 3369 Cambie.

I know where the building is; its on the west side of Cambie so the street address has to be an even number. Don’y know the exact number though!

My wife just walked by there this morning and reports it’s now open !

It’s where Don Don was located, on west side of street.

HKDave November 15, 2007 at 10:45 pm

It’s open; some friends of mine were there last night and said it was at least as good as we all knew it was going to be. No opening night jitters, food and service were spot on. I can’t wait…
