Up until 3am with the cooks and some of the service team (on the fly, Rob Clark made a Catelli pasta with fat-macerated pork belly. So nasty delicious). I woke up at 7am feeling like my body was made out of Merlot-soaked potato sack (God is a couple of Advil Extra Strength Liqui-Gels for Migraine Relief).

As to why the web bwanas of Vancouver Magazine haven’t uploaded the one food related story that did it this month, namely Fiona Morrow’s (aka gingerpeachy) piece on Colleen McClean’s all female kitchen crew at Rare, is beyond me. Now I have to steal a copy from my landlord. Update: oops, nevermind.
