COAST Makes Waves June 7 – 9 with Spectacular BC Spot Prawn Tasting Series
Vancouver, BC: Available fresh for only 80 days every year, the BC Spot Prawn is a succulent spring treat for in-the-know seafood lovers, and one that is sustainably harvested as well. COAST Restaurant is celebrating this year’s catch with its BC Spot Prawn Tasting Series to be dished up at the restaurant’s ‘community table’ during two seatings on June 7, 8 and 9.
The inspired six-course menu (based upon the sweet, delicate flavour and firm texture of the spot prawn) is just $60, with perfectly paired wines available for an additional $35. “It’s vital to us here at COAST to focus on seafoods that are local and sustainable,” says Executive Chef Sean Riley. “This is a perfect opportunity to introduce the BC spot prawn to our guests.”
