Nicole Arnett will be handling the pre and post-launch PR for Boneta and will be running their front desk once they open later this summer. Her past gigs include time at Lumiere as Rob Feenie’s personal assistant (where she met two of Boneta’s owners, Neil Ingram and Andre McGillivray), and a spell as the restaurant’s communications director. It’s a very cool, fun, and comfy hideaway room that’s night-and-day different from the bright old wireless cafe with the magazines and netwits. In many ways it’s almost criminally reminiscent of Salt Tasting Room (with big black chalkboard menus, artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and bar stools that are exactly the same – gulp), but hey, whaddya do. Plenty of great beers can be had along with cocktails designed by Steve de Cruz (of Chill Winston and soon Boneta). The intense and super capable Tyler Torrance (ex Monsoon) is the chef. Break a leg, fellas.
