Got some quick snaps earlier today – the room looks good. Can’t wait to see what the food looks like.
I was rushed so it’s not all that artistic…

A friend and I went there in mid July 2007. The atmosphere is beautiful and they mix nice drinks. Unfortunately, I can’t say that the food wowed me. The concept – Canadian Cuisine – sounded interesting, but the taste left my tongue with a bit of a question mark. The Smoked Duck Sausage was delightful, but it tasted like a really good hot dog vendor sausage. The fries and sauce (I can’t remember the exact name) were nice, but it tasted different than fries, and the tomato sauce tasted different than ketchup. Also, I found that it was a bit pricey ($130 with wine and food for two and I was still not full).
I may go back and try some of the other dishes – I really want to like this place – but maybe my palate just can’t grasp the taste of Metropolitan Canadian Cuisine.
Went on a Saturday night, food was good, a bit pricey as starter, dinner and drinks ran well over $150 for 2. The service was amazing, had two great guys serving us that night, it was very busy and they were attentive, quick and funny.
Was a bit dissapointed as I referred it to a friend who went the next weekend, had the same feeling that the food was good, but the service was terrible as they were met with sarcastic retorts when commenting about how fresh the seafood was.
