2 dashes orange bitters
1 egg white
2 tablespoons of orange, citrus, grapefruit, low-sugar marmalade
Shake vigorously and strain into a cocktail glass

Turbidity Turbidity Turbidity

by admin 11.11.2006

Ok, first of all, ew!
News that turbidity of our water supply is off the charts might just turn me off the stuff for good. Murky or clear, the trust is broken. Our family is good to go with bottled water for essentials (we attacked our neighbourhood IGA), and I mean for everything from [...]

Mixologist: Rubicon

by admin 11.06.2006

Mixologist | Rubicon

In a rocks glass:
½ oz green Chartreuse
1 rosemary sprig
Curl rosemary in rocks glass and light Chartreuse, cooking rosemary
In a mixing glass:
1 ½ oz gin
½ oz maraschino
½ oz lemon
Shake, strain into rocks glass, extinguishing flame.
The rosemary curled in the glass reminded me of Julius Caesar’s laurels and therefore I’ve named this libation after the [...]
